Lately we had to cook home a bit more. The little free time we have due to this job makes it not easy to find a moment to cook, but in the last two weeks we leapt to do some dishes, some classics, and other “inventions” (not high enough for Gordon Ramsey, but we are proud of them):

  • Rice with vegetables and pine kernels (Calasparra rice, green beans, peas, carrots strips, pine kernels, white wine, or even Porto wine, salt)
  • Rice with beet (Calasparra rice, onion, beet cubes, carrots strips, mushrooms, white wine, salt)
  • Turkey tenderloin in the oven with soy and honey (turkey tenderloin, soy sauce mixed with honey)
  • Avocado and crab salad (avocado strips, Alaskan king crab meat, hard-boiled egg, drops of lemon)
  • Veal with vegetables in Yakitori sauce (veal in cubes, zucchini, carrot in strips, peas, Yakitori sauce)
  • Croissants (truth be said, we bought the dough already done, baked home)
  • Apple pie (dough bought in the shop, apple slices, sugar, butter, half hour in the oven; spectacular and simple)
  • Chicken with vegetables in oyster sauce (chicken breast in strips, green asparagus, onion, corn, carrot in strips, enoki mushrooms, oyster sauce)
  • Sausage rolls (dough bought in the shop, sausage, around twenty minutes in the oven)
  • Beef Stroganoff (veal in strips, salt and pepper, chopped onion, mushrooms, a bit of flour, white wine, sour cream)
